Hall Residence

Hall Residence, Mission, Texas (2006-2007)

Jamie Crawley, AIA, LEED AP

This contemporary addition to a modest 1980’s ranch home in Mission, Texas is intended to create a dynamic gathering space for the home’s growing family.  The addition effectively doubled the square footage of the original home and was constructed in a conscientious, neighborly manner. The material palette is hardiboard and brick with a standing seam, metal roof. The original home was also re-clad in brick and had the benefit of a new roof. Through programming, the client discovered a need for several outdoor rooms and the impetus for the remaining design decisions.
